The Naos is a STERNGLAS classic. Its clean design draws on the fundamental principles of Bauhaus and translates them into a modern timepiece: functional, balanced and reduced to the essentials.

Worry-free thanks to sapphire crystal

We only use sapphire crystal for our timepieces. This type of watch glass is usually found in the luxury watch market.

For a perfect view of the dial, we apply a double anti-reflective coating to the sapphire crystal.

What exactly is sapphire crystal?

Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world - after diamond and moissanite.

Curved sapphire crystal not only looks good, it makes the durable watch crystal even more resistant.

This makes it virtually impossible for your sapphire crystal watch to get scratched in everyday life.

Fits under any shirt sleeve with just 8 mm height

The Naos is carefully crafted: At 38 mm in diameter and a slender 8 mm in height, it nestles comfortably on the wrist. Stainless 316L stainless steel encases the blue dial with its faceted date display.

The silver needle hand forms a strong contrast to the blue dial. This allows the wearer to read the time in any situation.

Miyota quartz movement GR12 with date function

The Miyota GR12 quartz calibre works behind the screwed steel back.

The movement offers a battery life of up to 36 months and a rate accuracy of -20/ +20 seconds per month.

With a low construction height of 3.5mm, the GR12 calibre is the ideal engine for our Naos.

Thanks to the integrated quick-release system, you can change the bracelet in seconds—completely tool-free.

Easy strap change without tools

Thanks to the quick-change system, you can give your timepiece a new look in just 10 seconds:

1 — Slide the pin of the spring bar inwards.

2 — Pull the strap off the watch.

3 — Put on a new strap by sliding the pin inwards again and inserting the spring bar one after the other into the holes in the case.

How long does the battery last?

The batteries we use typically last between 2-5 years. We recommend having a jeweler or watchmaker perform a battery replacement.
