A classic, reimagined: the Naos Automatic Edition 60

The Edition 60 takes our popular Bauhaus timepiece into a new mechanical direction. Inside, it features an automatic module with a diameter of 18.5 millimeters based on the Miyota 8315 caliber.

With a power reserve of up to 60 hours, the watch keeps running reliably even if you set it aside for an entire weekend. A practical everyday automatic that brings precision and calm into perfect harmony.

Worry-free thanks to sapphire crystal

We only use sapphire crystal for our timepieces. This type of watch glass is usually found in the luxury watch market.

For a perfect view of the dial, we apply a double anti-reflective coating to the sapphire crystal.

What exactly is sapphire crystal?

Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world - after diamond and moissanite.

Curved sapphire crystal not only looks good, it makes the durable watch crystal even more resistant.

This makes it virtually impossible for your sapphire crystal watch to get scratched in everyday life.

Fine mechanics in a clear, refined design

The dial features graduated shades of gray, transitioning from dark gray to light gray and finally to pure white at the center. This subtle use of color gives the watch depth and balance, while the finely shaped dark blue needle hands create an elegant contrast.

The polished stainless steel case with double domed and dual anti reflective sapphire glass emphasizes the clean and functional design language.

Automatic Movement with up to 60-Hour Power Reserve

The upgraded Miyota 8315 automatic movement gives the Lumatik even more endurance. It boasts a significantly longer power reserve of up to 60 hours compared to the Miyota 8215's 42 hours – noticeable by the red 60 on the dial.

This means you can set aside your timepiece for two days without it stopping and needing a reset. This is quite convenient if you want to switch to another STERNGLAS model. Your Lumatik will then be waiting for you for the next everyday adventure.

A sign of attention to detail is the blued screws, often found in luxury watches as an elegant and decorative element. Bluing is a traditional process where the screws are heated to produce the characteristic blue color. This durable timepiece requires no batteries and operates with the movement of your wrist. Moreover, it's water-resistant up to 5 ATM.

The screw-down glass case back offers a view into the heart of the Naos. We've listened to the STERNGLAS Community's desire for more power.

The upgraded Miyota 8315 automatic movement, with an extended power reserve of up to 60 hours, stripe decoration on the automatic bridge and a skeletonized rotor, ensures outstanding performance and precision. The blued screws, a cherished feature of high-end luxury watches, are also present in the Naos.

Traditional and demanding

We designed the Modena bracelet series as a universal interchangeable band. Made from high-quality Italian cowhide, with classic decorative stitching and light padding, it fits every one of our models. Due to the complex full folding process, it is particularly robust and durable.

It is available with all our buckle colors and in special lengths. Thanks to the quick-change system, the band can be easily changed within seconds, without any tools.

Easy strap change without tools

Thanks to the quick-change system, you can give your timepiece a new look in just 10 seconds:

1 — Slide the pin of the spring bar inwards.

2 — Pull the strap off the watch.

3 — Put on a new strap by sliding the pin inwards again and inserting the spring bar one after the other into the holes in the case.

Can I order the watch with a different strap?

We will be happy to check whether we can realise your desired combination. Please contact us by e-mail at support@sternglas.com and we will help you personally.

How is the movement maintained?

We recommend that you have your watch serviced every 3-5 years if it is used daily.

Since there are oils and resins in the watch that can dry out over time, they should be replaced regularly, otherwise mechanical abrasion or bearing damage can occur in the movement. Seals should be checked every 5 years and replaced if necessary, crown and barrel every ten years. This ensures that you will enjoy your mechanical watch for a long time.

You can have your watch serviced directly by our watch service or by one of our specialist retail partners in your area.
