With the Naos Moonphase, a new chapter begins for our most beloved watch line. As the evolution of our bestseller, it brings together a calendar and moon phase display for the first time in a clear and harmonious design.

This timepiece combines precise functionality with the fascination of the night sky. Reduced in expression, refined in detail, and designed for those who appreciate time with intention.

Worry-free thanks to sapphire crystal

We only use sapphire crystal for our timepieces. This type of watch glass is usually found in the luxury watch market.

For a perfect view of the dial, we apply a double anti-reflective coating to the sapphire crystal.

What exactly is sapphire crystal?

Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world - after diamond and moissanite.

Curved sapphire crystal not only looks good, it makes the durable watch crystal even more resistant.

This makes it virtually impossible for your sapphire crystal watch to get scratched in everyday life.

A star as its namesake.

Named after the star Naos, this timepiece brings the night sky directly onto the dial for the first time. Its most distinctive detail appears when both moons disappear. In that moment, a stylized star constellation surrounding the star Naos becomes visible.

The dial is available in Moon Silver or Midnight Blue, each with a fine sunray finish. Depending on the light, subtle reflections create depth and character. Luminova markers as well as luminous hour and minute hands ensure clear readability even in the dark.

Clarity in design. Precision in every detail.

The case, crafted from polished and brushed stainless steel, measures 38 millimeters in diameter and remains pleasantly slim with a height of just 8 millimeters. The dial is protected by a double domed sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating on both sides.

On the back, an engraving illustrates the cycle of the moon phases, a subtle reminder of the enduring rhythm of day, night, and time.

Miyota 6P20 with moon phase

Behind the screw down stainless steel case back operates the Miyota 6P20 quartz caliber.

The movement controls the moon phase at 6 o’clock as well as the calendar displays for date and weekday. Accuracy is rated at -20/+20 seconds per month, with a battery life of up to three years.

This allows the Naos Moonphase to offer a precise moon phase display along with a practical calendar function for everyday use.

Interchangeable Strap for Any occasion.

For optimal comfort, several strap options are available. The Bridle leather strap, crafted from waxed leather from England, is available in black or dark brown and develops a distinctive patina over time. Alternatively, the watch can be paired with a finely woven Milanese bracelet made of stainless steel.

All STERNGLAS straps feature a quick release system that allows the strap to be changed in seconds without any tools.

Easy strap change without tools

Thanks to the quick-change system, you can give your timepiece a new look in just 10 seconds:

1 — Slide the pin of the spring bar inwards.

2 — Pull the strap off the watch.

3 — Put on a new strap by sliding the pin inwards again and inserting the spring bar one after the other into the holes in the case.

How long does the battery last?

The batteries we use typically last between 2-5 years. We recommend having a jeweler or watchmaker perform a battery replacement.
