History on the Wrist: Naos Edition 1905

With the Naos Edition 1905 we pay tribute to a milestone year for the Hanseatic city: in 1905 the Speicherstadt, Hamburg’s world-famous warehouse district built of red brick, was completed.

To this day it stands as a symbol of Hanseatic trade, precise planning and industrial aesthetics.
This timepiece captures that heritage in its design and unites history with modern form.

Worry-free thanks to sapphire crystal

We only use sapphire crystal for our timepieces. This type of watch glass is usually found in the luxury watch market.

For a perfect view of the dial, we apply a double anti-reflective coating to the sapphire crystal.

What exactly is sapphire crystal?

Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world - after diamond and moissanite.

Curved sapphire crystal not only looks good, it makes the durable watch crystal even more resistant.

This makes it virtually impossible for your sapphire crystal watch to get scratched in everyday life.

A tribute to the completion of Hamburg’s Speicherstadt

The dial is finished in a satin dark green and structured by two finely graded color rings, adding depth and elegance. The hands are crafted in bronze and feature a signal-orange coating for optimal legibility – a deliberate contrast that unites function and design.

The case is made of robust stainless steel with a brushed, colorfast PVD bronze coating. It does not tarnish and permanently retains its distinctive tone. On the reverse, the edition engraving of the famous Wasserschloss serves as the central motif symbolizing the Speicherstadt. The caseback is secured with four screws – a technical detail that ensures durability.

Two sizes. A watch for every wrist

The NAOS Edition 1905 is available in 38 mm and 42 mm, making it suitable for both slender and broader wrists.

The case is crafted from stainless steel with a bronze-colored PVD coating. A double-domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the green dial. With 5 ATM water resistance and a screwed caseback, the watch is built to be both durable and ready for everyday wear.

Miyota quartz movement GR12 with date function

The Miyota GR12 quartz calibre works behind the screwed steel back.

The movement offers a battery life of up to 36 months and a rate accuracy of -20/ +20 seconds per month.

With a low construction height of 3.5mm, the GR12 calibre is the ideal engine for our Naos.

Interchangeable Strap for Any occasion

The Naos Edition 1905 is available with a leather strap or an elegant Milanese strap.

Thanks to the practical quick-release mechanism, each strap can be changed in seconds and effortlessly adapted to your personal style.

Easy strap change without tools

Thanks to the quick-change system, you can give your timepiece a new look in just 10 seconds:

1 — Slide the pin of the spring bar inwards.

2 — Pull the strap off the watch.

3 — Put on a new strap by sliding the pin inwards again and inserting the spring bar one after the other into the holes in the case.

How long does the battery last?

The batteries we use typically last between 2-5 years. We recommend having a jeweler or watchmaker perform a battery replacement.
